Since 2025 every Thai mission worldwide processes visas through the official e-Visa portal, and its published spec is simpler than photo sites admit: a passport-style photo taken within six months, JPG or JPEG up to 3 MB, white background, not cropped from your passport — and dressed properly, since the official guide rejects shirtless and tank-top photos outright. No pixel dimensions exist officially; the "350×450" numbers are folklore. Where prints still matter the sizes split by form: the MFA's paper visa form says 3.5×4.5 cm (US consulates ask 2×2 in), the in-country TM.7 extension-of-stay form wants 4×6 cm, and the work permit wants 3×4 cm — each a preset here at 600 DPI.
The Thai passport itself needs no photo — offices capture your picture live with your biometrics. Domestic paperwork keeps its charming inch system: civil-service applications run on 1 and 1×1.5 นิ้ว photos (the OCSC exam upload is one of Thailand's few official digital specs: a JPG of at least 40 KB), and the international driving permit wants two 2-inch prints. Type any form's exact numbers into the width and height fields. The honest part: this tool resizes exactly and does nothing else — it won't whiten a background or validate framing, warns rather than stretching a face silently, and runs entirely on your device.

Frequently asked questions
What photo does the Thailand e-Visa need?
Officially: a passport-style photo taken within the last six months, JPG or JPEG up to 3 MB, white background, not cropped from your passport page, in appropriate attire — the official guide rejects shirtless and strapless photos. No pixel spec exists; a clean photo at the embassy preset's shape uploads fine.
What size is a visa extension (TM.7) photo?
4×6 cm — the size printed on the TM.7 form itself, and the one in-country immigration offices expect. It's a different size from the embassy form's 3.5×4.5 cm, which is exactly the kind of mix-up that gets paperwork bounced; both are presets here.
Do I need photos for a Thai passport or driving licence?
No for both — passport offices and the DLT photograph you live. The exception is the international driving permit: two 2-inch prints, front view, taken within six months, not laminated.
What are Thailand's inch sizes?
Studio convention rather than official millimetres: civil service paperwork asks for 1 นิ้ว and 1×1.5 นิ้ว photos (the OCSC exam upload officially wants a JPG of at least 40 KB), and the IDP wants 2 นิ้ว. Follow your form's stated size, typing exact numbers into the width and height fields.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertUno runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your file never leaves your computer or phone — there is no upload at all.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Processing happens on your device, so serving you costs us almost nothing — no watermark, no account, no file-size limit, no daily quota.
