Terms of Use
Effective: August 9, 2026
The service
ConvertUno provides file conversion and compression tools that run in your web browser. Processing happens on your device; we never receive your files. The service is currently free of charge and requires no account.
Your files and rights
You keep all rights to your files. Because they are processed only on your device, no license or permission over your content is granted to us — none is needed. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you process and for how you use the results.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to break the law — including infringing others' copyrights — and don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse the service into something that harms other users.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Media conversion is complex and browser-dependent: we do not guarantee that every file converts, that output meets a particular quality, or that the service is uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your originals — the tools never modify your source file, but you should not treat any converter's output as your only copy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertUno and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service — which is zero for the free tools.
Changes to the service and terms
Features may change as the service evolves, and these terms may be updated; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
