ZIP, RAR, 7Z — extracted on your device, no upload
🔒 Files never leave your device — everything runs in your browser.
"How do I open this ZIP?" is a phone problem more than a computer one: an email attachment, a batch of photos from a friend, coursework from a portal — and a device with no archive app installed. Uploading the archive to a random website to see inside it is the usual answer, and a bad one: ZIPs are bundles of exactly the files you didn't want scattered around the internet.
This tool opens the ZIP entirely in your browser. Every file inside is listed with its size and its own download button, plus one button to grab everything. Folders inside the archive are flattened into clear filenames, and nothing — not the archive, not a single file in it — leaves your device. RAR and 7Z archives work on their own pages, same engine.
How it works
- Drop your file
Any common format, any size. Nothing is uploaded — the tool runs in your browser.

Your converted file is ready on your device — nothing to wait for, nothing to delete from a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I open a ZIP on my phone with this?
Yes — that is the main use. It runs in your phone's browser with nothing to install: open the page, pick the ZIP, and download the files you want directly to your phone.
What happens to folders inside the ZIP?
Files in subfolders are listed with the folder in their name (photos_trip_01.jpg) so nothing collides and nothing is lost. Every file is individually downloadable regardless of how deep it was.
My ZIP has a password — will it open?
Password-protected archives are not supported — the tool tells you clearly rather than asking for the password, which is exactly the kind of secret a website should never collect. Unlock it in an archive app first.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertUno runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your file never leaves your computer or phone — there is no upload at all.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Processing happens on your device, so serving you costs us almost nothing — no watermark, no account, no file-size limit, no daily quota.
