🔒 Files never leave your device — everything runs in your browser.
JPG is the path of least resistance: every form, marketplace, office document, and legacy system accepts it. When a listing tool or a document template refuses your SVG, this converter renders the vector right in your browser and hands back a compact JPEG — no upload, no account, no watermark.
One thing to know before you convert: JPEG has no transparency. Anywhere the SVG is see-through, the JPG gets a clean white background — fine for documents and listings, wrong for overlaying on dark designs. If the transparent background matters, convert to PNG instead. Sizing works the same either way: the declared size of the SVG, with small icons upscaled in vector space so they stay sharp.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to the transparent background?
It becomes solid white — JPEG simply has no alpha channel to store transparency in. That is the right look for documents, forms, and marketplace listings; if you need the background kept transparent, use the SVG to PNG converter instead.
Why choose JPG over PNG for an SVG?
File size and compatibility. JPG compresses far smaller than PNG for anything with gradients or photographic texture, and even the oldest systems accept it. Choose PNG when you need transparency or razor-sharp single-color edges at large sizes.
What resolution does the JPG come out at?
The size the SVG declares (width/height or viewBox), upscaled in vector space to at least 512 pixels on the longest side so small icons stay usable, and capped at 4096 pixels. The scaling happens before rasterization, so edges render crisp at the final size.
Do scripts or links inside the SVG carry over?
No. The SVG is rendered in the browser's isolated image context, where scripts never run and external references never load — you get clean pixels only. And since everything happens on your device, the file is never uploaded anywhere.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertUno runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your file never leaves your computer or phone — there is no upload at all.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Processing happens on your device, so serving you costs us almost nothing — no watermark, no account, no file-size limit, no daily quota.
